Haswent keeps one record per car that shows, at any moment, what it cost you, how long it has been with you and where it is advertised. That is what good dealer inventory management comes down to, and it means your team is never working from a spreadsheet that is out of date. Enter the registration and mileage, and the make, model, variant and specification are filled in for you. If the car has been in your stock before, you can copy its old record instead of starting again.
Bring Your Existing Stock With You
Import your stock from a spreadsheet. Choose the dealership, status and VAT treatment, and each row is checked before it goes in. Cars you already have are updated rather than added twice.
Preparation Costs and Stand-In Value
Add costs such as MOTs, repairs and valeting from your own list of regular costs, or type them in, with the supplier, quantity and VAT. Costs are added to the purchase price to give you the stand-in value of each car.
Photos, Video and Documents
Drag in photos, put them in order, download them all at once or replace backgrounds. Add a video link for your adverts, and keep files such as the V5C and service paperwork against the car, choosing which ones customers can see. Photos sent to AutoTrader come back labelled with what they show, such as Front Right or Interior Front.
Price It Against the Market
With AutoTrader connected, see retail, trade, part exchange and private valuations, the price indicator rating and how your price compares with similar cars for sale. Every price change, including special offer prices, is kept in the price history.
Reserve It, Sell It
Move a car to Reserved or Sold with one click from the stock list. When you mark a car as sold, you are offered the choice of starting a deal or raising a sales invoice there and then.
Pricing
Know where your price sits in the market
Haswent shows where each car's price sits against similar cars advertised on AutoTrader. With your AutoTrader connection, open a used car and see how many similar cars there are, their average and lowest prices, and how many are cheaper than yours. Change the trim, plate range, mileage or distance to compare like for like.
Choose Compare with market for the full list of competing adverts, each with its price, the AutoTrader price indicator, the seller and how long it has been advertised. Your own car is in the list too, so you can see exactly where your price sits.
To reprice the whole forecourt, the Pricing screen suggests a new price for each active car to reach the AutoTrader price band you choose, with a minimum profit and rounding you set. Change it once, and your adverts follow
Edit the price, photos or description in Haswent and your AutoTrader advert is updated for you, so you are not updating the same car on four websites. Sell the car and it comes off, and you choose whether reserved cars show as a sale in progress. On the data feeds screen you can see which of your cars are in each feed, and choose the feeds for each car on its record.

See how long every car has been with you, alongside price, mileage, status and MOT due date.
Your Columns, Your Filters
Pick the columns you want, filter by type, condition, fuel, colour, dealership or list, and edit prices in the list.
Keys and Location
Record the number of keys, key tag, physical location and V5 status of each car so nothing goes missing.

Switch the stock list to a customer-friendly view to show a buyer the car, its specification and finance on screen.
Suggested Photo Order
If your stock is managed on AutoTrader through us, see the photo order AutoTrader recommends and any shots it thinks are missing, and apply it in one click.
Your Own Custom Fields
Record details that have no place of their own, such as a finance status. Set them up under Settings > Custom Fields and filter your stock list by them.
Electric Vehicle Details
Look up an electric or hybrid car and its range, battery size and charging times from AutoTrader are saved on its Specifications tab.
Search by VIN
Adding an import or a car that is not registered yet? Search by its VIN instead of the registration when AutoTrader or vehicle data lookups are switched on.
Stock reports for you and your accountant
Haswent's stock reports show what you are holding and what it is worth whenever you need to, from a quick check on ageing stock to a stock valuation at your year end.

Yes. When your AutoTrader account is connected through Haswent, your adverts are created and updated from your stock records and sold cars come off AutoTrader. You choose whether reserved cars stay on the forecourt or show as a sale in progress. You also get AutoTrader valuations, price indicator ratings, advert and search views, and a comparison with similar cars for sale. If you would rather keep managing your adverts in AutoTrader, your stock can be brought in from AutoTrader instead.
Yes. Enter the registration and the mileage, and the vehicle details and specification are filled in for you. If AutoTrader or vehicle data lookups are switched on for your account, you can search by the 17-character VIN instead. If the car has been in your stock before, Haswent shows you the old record so you can copy it.
